Andrew Mitchell MP promotes Parkinson’s Awareness Week

In his capacity as the President of the Sutton Coldfield Branch of Parkinson’s UK, Andrew Mitchell MP held a tea at his Sutton Coldfield office to promote Parkinson’s Awareness Week to be held next week, 15-21 April 2013.

The Sutton Branch of Parkinson’s UK offers information, friendship and support to local people with Parkinson’s and their families and carers as well as organising regular events to raise awareness locally.

Andrew Mitchell MP, said “Parkinson’s Awareness Week 2013 is a good opportunity where together we can highlight some of the realities of living with Parkinson’s and help the public to better understand this condition and its effects.

“As President of Sutton Coldfield Parkinson’s UK I was delighted to host an afternoon tea for members of the Committee as well as new members.”
