Andrew Mitchell MP supports local businesses

Andrew Mitchell MP has addressed an audience of influential business people from across Birmingham many of whom came from Sutton Coldfield.

Sutton’s MP was the keynote speaker at a recent event held by Birmingham Forward, a not-for-profit Corporate Membership Organisation in the West Midlands. Andrew Mitchell spoke on a range of topics including the prospect of an Elected Mayor for Birmingham, the commitment of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce to reducing unemployment in the West Midlands and the importance of promoting private enterprise as the key to job creation.

Andrew Mitchell MP said, “I enjoy talking with business audiences and I am encouraged by progress made in the West Midlands to boost growth. Since the general election, the private sector has created over half a million extra jobs in the UK. The recent survey for the Chamber of Commerce is also encouraging for our local region.”
