Andrew Mitchell MP takes tea with Sutton’s clergy
Andrew Mitchell MP has held his annual meeting with Sutton Coldfield’s, hosted this year by Father Michael Ho at Holy Trinity Church.
Mr Mitchell and the Leaders had a discussion on a wide range of topics, ranging from local concerns, such as social services provision in the Royal Town, to wider issues facing society across the UK and the world, including Brexit and the more local issue of the new West Midlands Mayoralty.
Speaking after the meeting, Mr Mitchell said “This regular contact with the faith leaders in the community is always very important in shaping the way I go about my work. We had a discussion about the needs of Suttonians in general, and about broader political issues.”
