Sutton’s MP Andrew Mitchell, along with local Councillor Andrew Hardie, has taken a Christmas visit to Age Concern in Boldmere to talk about the services that they offer, and to thank staff and volunteers for their hard work and commitment to supporting the local community through their work.
Age Concern’s plans to launch their new “Communitea” initiative were praised by the local MP. This will be a new support hub and café in the heart of Boldmere, offering a range of services and a space for the development of asset-based activities and support for all ages.
Andrew Mitchell said “I was pleased to hear about the work that Age Concern is doing in the local community, and would like to thank all their hard working staff and volunteers for everything they do for my constituents in Sutton Coldfield. I look forward to visiting the new centre when it is up and running”.
