Following his appointment to the Cabinet, Andrew Mitchell MP came back to Sutton last Friday (14 May 2010) to tackle issues in his constituency, on behalf of both individual constituents and the town.
Top of his agenda was a meeting with the town centre Manager, Mike Bushell, appointed in January of this year to talk about Sutton’s progress and development.
Andrew Mitchell also had a meeting with his supporters and campaigners from the General Election.
Andrew Mitchell MP said, “I am so grateful to all those who worked so hard on my campaign to deliver this outstanding result with a majority of over 17,000 votes. And I am grateful also to all those who voted for me in the General Election.
“I pledge to work hard for all my constituents regardless of their political beliefs.”
