Andrew Mitchell MP was the guest speaker at a breakfast meeting held by the Royal Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce at the Aston Wood Golf Club.
An audience of nearly 100 businessmen and women turned up to hear Andrew Mitchell report back on Brexit and the current state of Britain’s negotiations with the European Union.
Andrew updated all present on the current state of the negotiations and made clear that he is willing the Prime Minister on to achieve the necessary concessions with the European commission.
“I am very conscious of the requirements of the business community throughout the West Midlands for a degree of certainty and a definite deal. But equally we must get that deal right and ensure that it is in the best interests of the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield.
“The sole decision I face when I vote on this deal is: whether it is in the best interest of those I represent in the Royal Town?”
Following an invitation from No.10, Andrew Mitchell met with the Prime Minister to set out what changes he hoped could be secured.
