Royal Sutton Coldfield MP Andrew Mitchell opened this year’s John Willmott School Summer Fayre on Saturday.
Sutton’s MP cut the ribbon together with his wife Sharon and their Welsh springer spaniel, Scarlett. The Fayre was a great day out for all the family, with a wide variety of stalls including cakes, books and vegetables from the School’s own pupil-run vegetable garden. The usual summer favourites were also on offer, including a tombola with a range of prizes such as tickets for the Sea Life Centre and Ash End Children’s Farm.
A variety of food was served ranging from jerk chicken to ice cream, as well as other traditional fare.
Andrew Mitchell MP said “I am once again delighted to open the John Willmott School Summer Fayre. Rain or shine the day is always a fantastic family day out in Royal Sutton Coldfield”.
