MP attends Royal Sutton Coldfield’s Annual Civic Service

17th July 2015

Royal Sutton Coldfield’s annual Civic Service was celebrated this year on Sunday 12th July at the Royal Town Church, Holy Trinity.

The service was led by Reverend John Routh, and included readings by Sutton’s MP Andrew Mitchell and Dominic Robson, Headmaster at Bishop Vesey School.

The Service, now in its tenth year since it was reconstituted in 2005 is a focal point for all of Sutton Coldfield and its organisations, and is always extremely well attended.

Andrew Mitchell said “the annual Civic Service is always uplifting and moving, and celebrates all that this best in Sutton Coldfield. I emphasise that those of all faiths – or no faith – are welcome to come and celebrate all that is best about our Royal Town.”
