Rt Hon Andrew Mitchell MP was the guest speaker at the September lunch of the Sutton Coldfield Elizabethan Luncheon Club which took place at Moor Hall Hotel.

In his speech Mr Mitchell focused on local matters and also national concerns including Covid 19.

Andrew Mitchell MP said,

“I much enjoyed speaking to the Elizabethan Luncheon Club. The Elizabethan is one of the Royal Town’s esteemed luncheon clubs founded 60 years ago by Edna Heappey whose grandson is currently serving as a Defence Minister. As life begins to return to something close to normal, it is wonderful to see our Royal Town’s clubs and societies spring back to life again. It was good to have the opportunity to see so many of the club’s members once again after a difficult 18 months for many local clubs and societies.”
