I arrived back in the Royal Town earlier than usual from Westminster to attend the funeral of Honorary Alderman Margaret Waddington on Thursday morning and had the honour of doing a eulogy for this wonderful lady for whom so many had gathered to say farewell.

I understand from the forecasts that by the time of posting my weekly message, Storm Eunice, that has battered most of the country, could well still be in full flow in our area and I hope everyone has followed the warnings and stayed inside and remain safe and well.
Andrew has met Kazi Rahman the Chairman of the Angels Foundation at the food bank, run by the Baptist Church on Trinity Hill in our Royal Town to assist them handing out parcels to organisations who help people in need.
I would like to start off this week’s message by thanking my former caseworker Arnob for all his help as he in now moving on. Some of you may know him as he has worked tirelessly in helping me best serve my constituents throughout the pandemic.
