Andrew Mitchell met a group of Year 11 students at Arthur Terry School last Friday. The students had invited Mr Mitchell to meet with them to discuss issues relating to their project on Youth Provision in Mere Green and Cyber Bullying, as part of their Citizenship course. Mr Mitchell answered the students’ many questions about plans for the local area, youth services and ways of dealing with the threat of Cyber Bullying. He also spoke about his work as a Member of Parliament at Westminster representing Sutton. Andrew Mitchell commented “I am always impressed by students who engage so fully with the local community and very much enjoyed meeting this citizenship group”.
