Andrew Mitchell MP has met with Chief Superintendent James Andronov, the head of Sutton Coldfield’s Operational Command Unit which covers Sutton Coldfield, Kingstanding, Castle Vale and North Erdington. Mr Mitchell met Chief Superintendent Andronov, who has been in the role since November 2008, at Sutton’s Police Station. The meeting, part of a series of updates between MP and Police Chief, was arranged by Mr Mitchell in order to talk over concerns raised by his constituents, including traffic and parking issues, anti-social behaviour and drug related crime in Sutton Coldfield. Andrew Mitchell MP said, “Many constituents contact me with issues which relate to policing in Sutton Coldfield. “These meetings therefore provide an important and productive opportunity for me to raise matters of concern on behalf of my constituents. “Chief Superintendent Andronov and I keep in close contact to make sure that the needs and concerns of Sutton’s residents are listened to and addressed.”
