Andrew Mitchell MP has, along with hundreds of Sutton Coldfield residents, paid tribute to service men and women from Sutton Coldfield and across the UK at the town’s official Remembrance Sunday ceremony. Andrew Mitchell MP said, “Today we remember the brutal reality of war and the enormous debt of gratitude we owe to our armed forces, past and present, who have served their country so loyally and bravely around the world.“ 108 British service men and women have given their lives for their country in Afghanistan in the last year. We remember them all today.” Following the laying of the wreaths, Andrew Mitchell and his wife Sharon joined ex-service men and women of the Royal British Legion at the British Legion club in Sutton Coldfield.
