Andrew Mitchell MP has praised Sutton’s community spirit for securing the change to the Boundary Commission plan announced this week. There were more complaints about the proposals from Sutton Coldfield than any other constituency in the country. He said, “The voice of Sutton – as I urged in my own evidence to the Commission - has been heard by the Boundary Commission and they have amended their proposals accordingly.” “There were many throughout our local community who gave their support to this change by writing and protesting to the Boundary Commission and their voice has been heard.”
