Andrew Mitchell MP has met with constituents from the Birmingham Talking Newspaper to discuss their work supporting Sutton’s visually impaired and to take part in an interview for listeners. The interview was part of a series the Talking Newspaper have held with local MPs and focussed on Andrew’s life in Sutton, Parliament and Government. Opening the interview, Ian McLaren said, “About five years ago, the Talking Newspaper celebrated its 30th anniversary and on our special tape to celebrate that occasion we interviewed Sutton Coldfield MP, the Rt Hon Andrew Mitchell MP. Five years on as we celebrate our 35th anniversary it’s a great pleasure to welcome back Andrew as our guest this week but this time in Government rather than Opposition.” Sending a message to the listeners Andrew Mitchell MP said, “I am always keen to hear from all of my constituents, if there is anything you think I can help with, please do get in touch.
