Sutton Coldfield’s MP, Andrew Mitchell is supporting a local youth group from Sutton Coldfield who are fundraising for a mission trip to Ploiești, Romania at the end of this month. United Youth Group, based in The Hub in Mere Green, brings together young people from different Churches in the local area to worship together. In Romania the Group will be undertaking a number of tasks, including; feeding the homeless and providing them with the necessities they need to survive the forthcoming bitter winter, visiting orphanages and worshipping in Romanian Prisons. Director of United Youth Group, James Greene, said “We have a fantastic group of young people travelling to Romania for this year’s trip to show God’s love to the people who benefit from our aid. If you choose to financially support us, you will be on the mission too; just a pound can go a very long way.” Andrew Mitchell MP, said “I was really inspired following my meeting with young members of United. The Group has worked extremely hard to carefully plan their mission trip; led by James Greene, and I wish them every success on their trip.” To make a donation please contact James Greene, Director of United at james.greene@uniteduk.org or 07947092139.
