Andrew Mitchell MP has voiced his support for Sutton’s Norman Laud Association’s Cinder Path Run that takes place on Sunday 10 October at 11am. The 10km cross country run through Sutton Park was resurrected last year after an absence of many years. Last year’s run was so successful the Norman Laud Association has now made it a scheduled annual event, similar to the popular 7 Pools Run. Local MP, Andrew Mitchell, President of the Norman Laud Association offered his support to the event and urged local residents to take park. He said, “The Norman Laud Association is one of Sutton’s many remarkable charities that do such fantastic work. I hope as many people as possible take part in the Cinder Path Run to help raise money for this great cause.” The run will begin at Sutton Park Visitors Centre by Town Gate and the starting pistol sounds at 11am. The entry fee is £8.00 and places are limited. Emma Holding, Community Fundraiser, for The Norman Laud Association said, “We are really looking forward to this year’s run, we have recruited family, friends and many work colleagues to take part. The run is becoming ever more popular which is fantastic news for all concerned.” For your entry form visit www.cinderpathrun.org.uk or contact Emma Holding on 0121 373 6860.
