Andrew Mitchell MP has visited Sutton Coldfield’s Library to view the newly refurbished facilities opened earlier this Summer. Sutton’s MP was accompanied by Councillors Margaret Waddington and Anne Underwood who were instrumental in ensuring that the town’s library was re-opened as soon as it was possible. Following his tour Andrew Mitchell MP, said “Although it was unfortunate that asbestos was discovered in the library building, which proved costly to remove and delayed the refurbishment, I am delighted that we now have back our access to first class learning and leisure facilities in the heart of our town. “The town’s library is at the centre of the community and I am, therefore, pleased that a range of local services, including the Sutton Coldfield Customer Service Centre, are now located under one roof and will provide an improved level of service to those using the library.” Photo: Andrew Mitchell MP, Councillors Margaret Waddington and Anne Underwood and Gary Ladbrooke, Service Integration Head for Sutton Coldfield.',
