Andrew Mitchell MP, said “It was a humbling and uplifting experience to see firsthand how hardworking the staff on the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit team are. Their commitment to good quality care was quite evident and from hearing the positive comments from the parents of the young patients receiving care on the Unit on the day of my visit. The Chief Executive and Senior Management at Birmingham Children’s Hospital are working towards further improving and developing specialist services and efficiency at the Hospital with substantial funding placed aside for improvements.” Photos: Andrew Mitchell MP with staff from the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit and with the Chief Executive of Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Sarah Jane Marsh.
