Sutton’s MP Andrew Mitchell has visited the recently opened McCarthy and Stone development on Jockey Road, Sutton Coldfield to view the new high-quality accommodation and meet with residents. Andrew Mitchell was invited by McCarthy and Stone, the leading provider of retirement accommodation for owner-occupiers, to view their new development in Sutton. Poppy court offers greater choice and independence in older age. In addition McCarthy and Stone developments assist those in later life to avoid the necessity of moving into residential care by offering a variety of care and support packages. Andrew Mitchell MP, said “McCarthy and Stone are an excellent example of how to provide and manage high-quality retirement living. It is evident that residents here feel comfortable, happy and secure in their surroundings. “I always enjoy speaking with older constituents and hearing their views on what they feel the Government is doing well and the areas in which they feel there could be improvement - on this occasion we had a lively debate about British industry.
