Andrew Mitchell MP has visited Sutton Coldfield’s Holland House Infant School and Nursery to tour the school and speak to staff and pupils at their morning assembly. Andrew met Deputy Headteacher Mrs A Smith and the Chair of Governors, Rob Slater. During the assembly, Mr Mitchell spoke to pupils about his experience as Sutton’s Member of Parliament and talked about his work representing them at Westminster. Andrew also thanked the school’s dedicated staff and governors for offering the highest standards of teaching and learning. He spoke of the “glowing report” that the school had received from its recent Ofsted inspection in June of this year and said that staff and teachers should be extremely proud of their “outstanding” Ofsted rating. Andrew Mitchell said, “It was a pleasure to visit Holland House, one of the first infant schools in Birmingham to achieve an ‘Outstanding’ rating from Ofsted. Congratulations to all the staff, teachers, pupils and parents who have made Holland House such an excellent place of learning for our infants.” Photo: Andrew Mitchell MP with Mrs A Smith, Rob Slater and Tim Walters, Vice-Chair of Governors',
