Andrew Mitchell MP and Councillor Margaret Waddington have visited the Sutton Coldfield YMCA to take part in one of their weekly projects for young people with learning and physical disabilities. Sutton Coldfield YMCA run a number of schemes where young people with learning and physical disabilities are taught life-skills to allow them to reach their full potential. Andrew Mitchell MP, said “We are extremely fortunate in Sutton Coldfield to have a pro-active Disability Team based at the YMCA who work hard to create a more positive and engaging environment for young people in Sutton with learning disabilities and their families.” The K-Kats Youth Club (13-19 years) meets every Saturday between 1-4pm. The Moving-on Club (19-25 years) meets every Thursday from 6.30 – 9.30pm.
