Andrew Mitchell MP will visit Royal Mail’s Sutton Coldfield delivery office on Friday 17th December to see for himself how postmen and women in the area get Christmas sorted. The MP will take a tour of the delivery office to see how we deal with the mountains of festive mail. He will also chat to our hardworking staff who make sure they deliver a first class Christmas for West Midlands residents. Mr Mitchell will meet Stephen Caulton, Delivery Office Manager, and some of the 157 postmen and women, who are responsible for ensuring that Sutton Coldfield’s massive Christmas mailbag is delivered to over 49,800 addresses at Royal Mail’s busiest time of year. Commenting on the visit Andrew Mitchell said, “I am looking forward to thanking Sutton’s postmen and women who work extremely hard around the festive season to ensure that all of us in Sutton Coldfield receive our Christmas post.”
