My nineteenth weekly message to my constituents and local residents across our Royal Town comes on one of the hottest days of the year so far. I hope you are all keeping well and staying safe (and in the shade!)
I thought it might be interesting to provide an update of what a typical week involves at the moment, in terms of meetings both in Parliament and in the Royal Town. Alongside parliamentary business and corresponding with constituents, my week involved a lot of meetings and conversations, most of which usually take place behind the scenes.
Today I visited three local businesses in the Royal Town. It is humbling to see how businesses are picking themselves up and forging ahead. I am really proud of the businesses in my constituency.
I would like to begin my fourteenth weekly message by thanking all those who continue to help keep our local green spaces clean and tidy. Litter continues to be a problem in many areas because of the intensive use of community areas.
I am writing my thirteenth weekly message to residents throughout Sutton Coldfield from my office in the Royal Town where I have been working this afternoon following a series of socially distanced visits earlier today.
I would like to begin my twelfth weekly message to residents throughout Sutton Coldfield by congratulating Councillor Jane Mosson who has been elected to serve as our Royal Town Mayor.
