This morning I visited the Severn Trent Minworth sewage works. I made the visit following a number of complaints from constituents in Minworth about unpleasant smells.

On Sunday 12 November our Royal Town will pay its respects to those who defended our freedoms and made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. 

There was real shock and a real sense of unity in the House of Commons this week as the Prime Minister spoke about the crisis in the Middle East.

This week we have seen progress on the bringing to justice of those who have been targeting school children in the Town centre.

I went on a visit to Peddimore today and to Peddimore Hall, with its famous old words above the door in Latin “God is our Refuge” (see photo below). I referred to this in the debate in Parliament when we secured the reassertion of our Royal status.

Today Andrew Mitchell opened the new Amazon facility at Peddimore. This huge new development will provide around 2,000 new and quality jobs and is an investment within the Royal Town of £550 million.
