Today I visited the building site which will, by October 2025, be the site of a brand new New Oscott Primary School.

I was delighted to join chair Keith Dudley, CEO Tina Swani, trustees, partners and team members at the annual reception of the Sutton Coldfield Charitable Trust.

As you will know I was re-elected as your Member of Parliament for the seventh time in nearly a quarter of a century with a reduced majority of 2,500. I want to thank you very much for once again placing your faith and trust in me.

With the General Election only days away, we are now at the peak of the campaign – with hundreds of local volunteers having hit the streets to support the need for a strong, Conservative voice for Sutton Coldfield.

Throughout the General Election campaign, I am outlining my four big objectives for Sutton Coldfield, which I want to have achieved by 2028, when we celebrate the 500th anniversary of our Royal charter.

Last Sunday saw the official launch of my election campaign, with a huge turnout of volunteers and supporters from right across the Royal Town, as we began the task of ensuring that Sutton Coldfield retains a strong, experienced Conservative voice in the tough time ahead.

Last night, I was honoured to attend a very moving service as part of the 80th commemorations of D-Day at Holy Trinity Church.
